It is a technical approach, but delivered with the patience of a friend who genuinely wants to see you nail that turn or master your isolations without strain. Great dance training isn't just about the steps you execute; it is about the person teaching you how to execute them. At Taglioni, we believe that the best instructors act as mentors, not drill sergeants. When you join our studio in Sector 57, you aren't just signing up for a class; you are joining a dance family that supports you through every stumble and success. ### Our Mentorship Philosophy Led by our founder Dharna and lead instructor Ankita Gupta, our team prioritizes a non-judgmental environment. Whether you are a four-year-old taking your first ballet class or an adult returning to jazz, we adapt our teaching to your pace. We want you to feel confident, capable, and excited to walk into the studio each week. ### The Expert Team * **Ankita Gupta:** Bringing fresh techniques from her time in New York, Ankita specializes in Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary. She is known for breaking down complex routines into manageable, bite-sized movements. She doesn't just watch your posture; she helps you understand how your body needs to align to prevent injury and improve grace. * **Dharna:** As the founder, she drives our vision of inclusive dance. She consistently debunks the myths that ballet is only for kids or that certain styles are age-restricted. Her focus is on making high-quality, professional-level training available to everyone, regardless of when they start. ### Why Technique Matters We hold ourselves to a high standard because we care about your long-term growth. We use shock-absorbent flooring and focus on proper alignment in every session. By teaching you the history and the mechanics—from the isolations of jazz to the flow of contemporary—we help you build a foundation that lasts. We aren't just teaching you a routine for a video; we are teaching you to be a dancer. ## About Taglioni School of Performing Arts I’m Dharna, and along with Ankita and our team, we’ve built Taglioni to be a place where technical discipline meets creative freedom. We aren’t here to judge your level, but to help you find your unique rhythm, whether you’re four or forty.
