You will need fitted dancewear and jazz shoes to keep your movements sharp and safe on our professional shock-absorbent flooring, which we require to protect your joints during high-impact sequences. Jazz Funk and Commercial dance is all about energy. Unlike the fluid lines of ballet, this style demands sharp, precise isolations, dynamic transitions, and a confidence that translates well to camera-ready routines. ### What to Expect in Class Our weekend batches are designed for those who want to learn choreography that feels like it belongs in a music video. You will move through: - **Commercial Grooves:** Learning to hit beats with intention and style. - **Performance Attitude:** Developing the stage presence required to sell a routine. - **Technical Drills:** Mastering corner work, including pivots and quick transitions. ### The Taglioni Approach We prioritize creating a space that feels like family, not a competitive audition room. Our instructors, Rea and Muskan, do not just teach steps; they help you understand how to use your body to express attitude and rhythm. Whether you are a total beginner or a dancer looking to sharpen your commercial style, you will receive personalized feedback in every session. ### Practical Details We hold these classes at our Sector 57 studio in Gurugram. We provide a space equipped with full wall mirrors for posture correction and shock-absorbent Marley flooring to ensure you can train safely. Come prepared in fitted clothing and jazz shoes—baggy clothes tend to obscure lines and prevent us from helping you correct your form effectively. ## About Taglioni School of Performing Arts We are Taglioni, and we believe dance is for everyone, regardless of age or background. Our team, including Rea and Muskan, creates a space where you can let go of the day, learn authentic technique, and leave feeling more confident than when you walked in.
