From humble jam sessions in Ulsoor to the noise we make in our studios today, here is a slice of our history. ## Photos and videos - ![A true blast from the past! This is the view from our front window back in 2015. It was not about having the fanciest studio back then, but about finding a space where the rhythm felt right. We learned early on that you do not need walls of gold to make good music, just a decent guitar, some dedicated mentors, and the right company to jam with. Our story started with a simple goal: making music accessible and, more importantly, fun. We were tired of the usual music classes where theory was taught like a boring school subject, so we decided to change the script. From those early days in Ulsoor to our current centers in Indiranagar, Vasanth Nagar, and Yelahanka, the vibe has remained the same. We focus on getting you to play songs from day one, whether you are picking up a guitar, sitting behind a drum kit, or finding your voice. We believe that if you are not having a 'sakkath majja' (super fun) time, you are doing it wrong. We have grown from a small group of friends jamming in a room to a collective of mentors who live and breathe music. Our teachers are not just instructors, they are active performers who bring the energy of the stage into the classroom. If you have been looking for music classes in Bangalore that prioritize the 'feel' over rigid exam structures, you have found the right place. We keep things flexible because we know life in the city is hectic. Come by any of our centers, talk to our mentors, and see why we say 'Ee sala... music namdu' (This time... music is ours!). ## About Taaqademy We are not your typical music school with dusty theory books and stiff chairs. We are a bunch of musicians, from jazz enthusiasts to metalheads, who decided that learning music should be as fun as playing it.
