Ensemble: Live Performances When we take the stage, our goal is to move the room. We don't just play instruments; we bring the deep, resonant sound of West African djembe and dunun rhythms and layer them with contemporary jazz-funk influences. Whether you want a high-octane stage performance or an interactive set where your guests are invited into the groove, we tailor the ensemble to match the vibe of your event. ### Authentic Roots, Modern Energy Our ensemble, often featuring 'Taal Inc. & Friends', is rooted in the tradition of my guru, Grandmaster Mamady Keïta. We honor the Mandingue music culture, using the Djembe and Dunun (bass drums) as our primary voice. This isn't your typical background music; it is a live conversation between the musicians and the audience. ### Why Choose Our Ensemble? * **Dynamic Sound:** We blend traditional folk tunes with jazz-funk, making our set versatile for corporate galas, festivals, or intimate private parties. * **Engaging Performance:** We know how to read a crowd. We can transition from a tight, technical set to an interactive rhythm circle that gets everyone on their feet. * **Professional Setup:** Whether playing at a studio, an auditorium, or an outdoor venue, we bring the passion and the gear needed to deliver a crisp, powerful sound. ### Customizing Your Event Every event has a different energy. Sometimes you need a high-energy stage show to kick off a conference, and other times you need a subtle, rhythmic backdrop for a celebration. We offer various ensemble sizes and styles to fit your specific needs. If you are looking to bring the spirit of the djembe to your venue, reach out and let's talk about what rhythm works best for your crowd. Anta! ## About Taal Inc I'm Varun, and my team at Taal Inc. lives to share the rhythm.
