For our juniors, we mix structured Jazz and Hip-Hop with cool-down stretches to ensure they build discipline without losing the fun. We don't just teach steps; we build a foundation. Whether it's our 'Boogie Up' foundation course for 3-6 year olds or our CPYD (Certificate Programme for Young Dancers) for 7-11 year olds, the goal is consistent: creating a space where kids feel at home. For the little ones, we focus on gross motor skills. By combining Disney and popular Bollywood tracks, we make sure they stay excited while learning coordination and spatial awareness. It’s a high-energy environment, carefully balanced with structured creative movement to help them overcome shyness. As dancers move into our junior programs, the focus shifts slightly toward technique. We rotate through Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Contemporary routines. It’s not just about getting the steps right; it’s about posture, flexibility, and musicality. We hold classes twice a week in our studios across Chennai and Bangalore, providing a safe, air-conditioned environment with full-length mirrors so students can track their own progress. Beyond the classroom, many of our juniors eventually join our annual 'Inspirations' stage show. It’s a highlight for our community, where students see months of hard work transform into a performance. If you are looking for children's dance classes that balance fun with actual progress, come drop into a class. It’s the best way to see the vibe firsthand. ## About The Swingers Dance We believe every child is born to move. We’ve spent 27 years turning our studios into a second home where kids don't just learn routines, they build friendships and confidence that last way past the final step.
