Whether you are preparing for a Gandharwa Mahavidyalaya exam or just want to find your rhythm, you get hands-on guidance on the instrument right here in our studio in Malad or Dahisar. ### Classical Roots, Modern Feel Classical music often gets a reputation for being rigid. We flip that. Our harmonium and tabla classes are about understanding the 'sur' and 'tala' while keeping the atmosphere light. We teach the theory, but you will also learn to play the songs you actually enjoy. ### What to Expect * **Harmonium:** We focus on finger placement, bellow control, and singing while playing—a crucial skill for any vocalist. You learn to connect your voice to the notes, making your practice meaningful. * **Tabla:** You will master the 'bols', hand positioning, and the essential rhythmic patterns that form the backbone of Hindustani music. It is about feeling the beat as much as hitting it correctly. ### Exam Prep & Performance If you are aiming for certification, we provide the curriculum and guidance for Gandharwa Mahavidyalaya practical and theory exams. For those who just want the stage experience, we offer chances to perform at our annual Guru Purnima Utsav. It is a space to grow, not just a place to study. ### Practical Details * **Malad & Dahisar:** Our studios in Malad East and Dahisar East are fully equipped. You do not need to carry your harmonium or tabla to class; we provide the instruments so you can just bring your enthusiasm. * **Schedule:** We keep batches small so you get quality time with the guru. It is not just about learning notes; it is about building the confidence to perform in front of an audience. ## About Swar Sadhna Mandir We are Swar Sadhna Mandir, and we believe music is a vibe, not a chore.
