You will learn the exact layer masking techniques I use to merge two separate shots into one safe composite image, so you never have to put a baby in a precarious position. Editing is not just about making things look pretty. It is a critical part of the safety process. When we create a 'hanging' shot or place a baby in a prop, we are never actually putting the infant in danger. I will show you how to shoot two plates: one with the baby secured safely and one of the prop itself. In Photoshop, we merge these into one seamless final image. ### What we cover in this session: - **Raw Processing:** Getting the white balance and exposure right before you even open Photoshop. - **Skin Retouching:** My method for cleaning up newborn skin tones while keeping that soft, natural texture that parents love. - **Composite Workflow:** Layer masking, opacity control, and blending to ensure the shadows and lighting match between your two shots. - **AI Tools:** Using new software to speed up repetitive tasks like background removal and frequency separation, so you spend less time at the computer and more time shooting.
