Unlike studio shoots, we do not rely on structured backdrops here. We lean on the golden hour light and the natural surroundings of Bangalore’s parks, so bring comfortable clothes, a favorite snack, and be ready to follow your child's lead. I love shooting outdoors because it removes the pressure of the 'perfect shot.' In a studio, we have controlled lighting, but in a park or garden, we get those unexpected giggles and candid interactions that happen when a child is distracted by a flower or a butterfly. ### Why choose an outdoor session? Most of my outdoor work happens during the golden hour, right after sunrise or just before sunset. This is when the light is soft and flattering, giving everything that magical, dreamy glow. It is perfect for active toddlers who hate sitting still and families who want a relaxed, vacation-like vibe rather than a formal portrait session. ### Planning your shoot My Platinum and Diamond packages are ideal for outdoor locations. These sessions are longer—up to 5 hours for the Diamond tier—which gives us enough time to take breaks. Kids get hungry, they get tired, and they sometimes just need a moment to reset. I never rush these sessions. We can shoot at public parks in Bangalore or even a private garden if you have a spot that means something to you. I often ask parents to bring props that keep kids engaged, like bubbles, a favorite book, or even a soft toy. If you are worried about your child not 'posing,' don't be. My job is to blend into the background and catch those fleeting moments while you focus on playing with your little ones. Whether it is a messy face full of cake or a quiet hug, these are the memories that actually stick. ## About Swara Rane Hi, I’m Swara.
