## About Natural & Ayurvedic Waxing

### Why I Started This

Coming back after years away, I was shocked at how much chemical stuff goes into basic salon waxing. *Apun socha* (I thought), why not use Ayurveda that’s already in our roots? I wanted waxing to be more nourishing than painful, more about healthy skin than just hair gone.

### How My Ayurvedic Waxing Works

This isn’t your usual strip-and-rip. This is a full-on *skin care* ritual:

- Pre-wax, I use real Ayurvedic oils to hydrate and prep, not just to make things slippery. Feels like skin gets *taqat* (strength), not just a quick fix.
- My wax is totally plant-based - no parabens, no weird chemical smell. It’s gentle, especially if you have sensitive skin or hate that red itchy feeling after regular waxing.
- After, I use natural creams to calm and lock in moisture, so you walk out with soft, happy skin.

### What I Cover

- Full body, legs, hands, underarms, back - take your pick.
- Women are my main clients, but men are welcome too - evening slots only, with male therapists for privacy and comfort.

### FYI

I shut shop every Sunday because everyone - even skin - needs a break. If you want something that feels more herbal hair removal treatment than just waxing, this is it.

### My story

Namaste, I’m Gayathri. Swã is my dream—where ‘self’ meets Ayurveda. After living abroad, I came back to Bangalore and saw every salon loaded with chemicals. Hamare ajja-ajji (our grandparents), they used haldi, methi, kitchen stuff, and their skin had holatana (shine) you don’t see now. I wanted a women-centric space, all Ayurvedic, no shortcuts. Some days, progress is slow, but seeing women from Italy to Dubai walk in for real care—makes me proud. Swã is my way of giving back. Come, experience this bliss.

- **Ayurvedic Facials & Therapies**: Kumkumadi facial therapy, Ayurvedic ghee facial, and Abhyanga body massage—all pure, plant-based, cruelty-free.
