I believe that beauty isn't something you apply topically for an hour—it's about understanding what your skin lacks and providing it with authentic, plant-based nourishment. That's why every session begins with a skin analysis to determine if you need the deep purification of Manjistha or the intense hydration of our Kumkumadi therapies. I spent over two decades living outside India, and when I returned to Bangalore, I was shocked by how normalized chemical-laden salons had become. I knew we were trading our long-term skin health for a temporary shine. Swã is my answer to that. It’s not just a salon; it’s a space where we honor the traditional rituals our grandmothers practiced—using haldi, methi, and pure oils. We don't do quick fixes. We focus on skin shakti (strength). My 'Botox through Ayurveda' approach is exactly what it sounds like: using natural, therapeutic-grade oils and precise massage techniques to tone, firm, and hydrate your skin from within. Whether it’s the Kansa wand therapy in our Signature Kumkumadi facial or the gentle extraction process in our fruit-based cleanups, everything here is designed to respect your skin's natural barrier. We source our ingredients from trusted, traditional houses like B.V. Pundit's, ensuring that what touches your face is as pure as what you would use in your own kitchen. ## About Swa I'm Gayathri. After 20 years away, I returned to Bangalore to build Swã, a space where we treat skin with the same care as our ancestors did.
