It is an open, flexible environment purposefully designed for curiosity, where children and adults learn, climb, and create side-by-side. ## Photos and videos - ![Our rooftop space is a hub for community gatherings. We designed it with a custom bouldering wall, open-air zones, and versatile workstations so your child is never stuck behind a desk. Everything here—from the clay stations to the tire swing—is built to encourage tactile, messy, and real-world exploration rather than academic perfection. At Svadhyaya, we believe that the environment is a teacher in itself. Our Jayanagar space is not just a place to hold classes; it is a community hub where children and adults are encouraged to slow down and observe. We prioritize sustainability in our design. You won't find sterile, plastic-heavy interiors here. Instead, we use natural light, recycled materials, and zero-waste supplies to create a space that feels grounded and real. The rooftop layout allows us to transform from a quiet, focused pottery studio in the morning to an active movement zone for bouldering in the afternoon. We intentionally keep our groups small to ensure that every participant gets individual attention. This setup allows us to practice our core philosophy: letting the learner lead. Whether you are coming in for a STEM workshop or a sensory play session, you are walking into a space that welcomes questions, mistakes, and the freedom to experiment. It is a place designed to make alternative education feel accessible, tangible, and fun for families in Bengaluru. ## About Svadhyaya I founded Svadhyaya after my own child asked why adults get all the freedom to explore. We built this space in Jayanagar to be that rare intersection where parents and kids don't just exist in the same building, but actively learn and create together.
