It is a 600 sq. ft. dedicated dance studio with professional-grade wooden flooring that absorbs impact, which is essential for the rhythmic footwork of Bharatanatyam and other classical forms. The full-length mirrors along the long wall give you perfect sightlines for checking posture during group formation practice. Just keep in mind the studio is on an upper floor, so you will need to walk up the stairs to access it. Whether you are prepping for an Arangetram, organizing a weekend workshop, or filming content, you need a space that supports your craft. This studio in Kodambakkam serves as a blank canvas designed purely for movement. The neutral, scuff-free white walls ensure the focus remains entirely on the dancers rather than the background. ### Why this space works for groups The rectangular, unobstructed layout is ideal for ensembles of 4 to 8 dancers. You can comfortably set up formations without worrying about pillar interference. Since it is an enclosed, private space, you can play music at a volume that helps with timing without disturbing the neighborhood. ### Amenities for your session - **Climate Control:** The split AC ensures you stay cool during high-intensity rehearsals. - **Production Gear:** We provide a heavy-duty tripod and ring light, making it easy to record run-throughs or livestream workshops to students joining from other cities. - **Focus & Hygiene:** We maintain a strict no-food policy on the wooden floor to ensure it stays pristine for bare feet. A separate, private changing room is available, which is a relief for long practice sessions where you might need to swap costumes. For group sessions, we recommend booking our 3-hour rehearsal bundle. It is more cost-effective than hourly slots and gives you enough time to warm up, run your routines, and cool down properly without rushing. ## About Sushmitha Suresh I am Sushmitha, and Vivartana is the space where I personally work through my own choreography and host my students.
