Whether you are in my studio in Malleswaram or learning online, I use a specific spotlight correction method to fix your hand gestures and rhythmic timing in real time. It is not just about copying the teacher; it is about understanding the logic behind every Adavu. Bharatanatyam is a conversation between body and soul, and at Vivartana, we ensure that conversation is honest. This gallery captures the breadth of my work, but the heart of our practice lies in the details. ### Our Training Approach We move beyond just memorizing steps. Our foundation batches focus heavily on theory, helping you understand the rhythm (Jathis) and the storytelling (Abhinaya) that give this dance form its depth. For our local students in Bangalore and Chennai, we maintain small batch sizes—roughly 8 to 12 people—so every dancer gets personal attention to fix their posture and knee alignment. ### Online and In-Person Flexibility If you are learning from home, we do not just rely on pre-recorded videos. My virtual classes are live and interactive, designed to make you feel like you are right here in the studio. We use professional lighting and multiple camera angles to ensure you see the nuances of my footwork and hand gestures (Hastas) clearly. ### From Basics to the Stage We guide students through the entire spectrum of their dance journey. This includes the technical training for the Margam, but also the 'behind the scenes' elements that make a dancer performance-ready—stage makeup, costume selection, and the stamina needed for an Arangetram.
