I bring high-energy Latin fusion to your sangeet stage, mixing Bachata and Salsa rhythms with the Hindi tracks you love to create a performance that feels authentic, not just rehearsed. ## Photos and videos - [Video: When family asks you to dance at a wedding, you give them a show. Here's a glimpse of how I bring a Latin twist to the sangeet stage, creating a fun and unexpected performance that gets everyone talking.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/4c97058f-d302-4e65-be11-d44193446e79) ## About Wedding & Sangeet Performances I don't believe in rigid, copy-paste steps. We will work together at my studio in Malviya Nagar to build a 3-minute routine that actually fits your comfort level, whether you are a complete beginner or an intermediate dancer. To make sure you aren't stressing before the performance, I also record practice-along videos for you to use at home so you can build your muscle memory without needing to be in the studio every single day. ### Beyond the Typical Bollywood Routine When family asks for a dance, most people go for the same old routines you've seen at every other wedding. My goal is to change that. I specialize in 'Desi-Latin' fusion—taking your favorite Punjabi or Bollywood tracks and infusing them with the smooth partner connection of Bachata or the high energy of Salsa. ### How We Work Together * **Customization:** We start with your choice of music. I help you edit the track if needed and then layer in choreography that suits your personality. * **Comfort is Key:** I get that wedding outfits can be restrictive. During our sessions, we account for things like footwear and the cut of your sherwani or lehenga to ensure your lifts and turns are executed safely. No wardrobe malfunctions on the big day. * **Flexible Scheduling:** I know how chaotic wedding prep gets. I offer flexible late-evening and weekend slots at my Malviya Nagar studio to fit around your fittings and family commitments. ### Why Latin Fusion? It is all about the vibe. Standard Bollywood dance relies heavily on jumping and high-impact moves. My style focuses on rhythm, musicality, and partner connection. This creates a performance that looks elegant and sophisticated on stage, rather than just high-speed movement. Whether you want a romantic duet or an interactive group piece for your sangeet, I ensure the dance feels like *your* story, not a generic routine downloaded from the internet. ## About Suraj Verma Dance is my first language, and for me, it’s all about finding that connection—whether it’s with a partner or the music itself. I’m not here to just show you moves; I want to help you express your own story on the stage, blending my Latin training with the desi vibe of your wedding.
