You get the nuance of musicality and the unspoken connection that happens between partners on an international dance floor. My focus is not on perfection or rigid rules, but on the authentic connection you create with your partner when the music takes over. Dancing globally means understanding that Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba are universal languages. At festivals in Phuket or Saigon, I observe how different cultures interpret rhythm, space, and resistance. I bring these insights back to our studio in Malviya Nagar to help you break past the basics. ### Why International Experience Matters My trips to festivals like Latin Notion aren't just about performing. They are deep dives into the evolution of social dancing. When I teach, I am not just mimicking routines I saw abroad; I am translating that energy for our local context. Whether you are prepping for a wedding Sangeet, learning to social dance, or looking for a high-energy workshop, the core techniques remain the same: connection, resistance, and active listening to the music. ### My Teaching Philosophy: Mujh Se Mere Tak Dance is a journey from me to myself. In my workshops, we start by understanding our own body's movement before we worry about the partner. - **Musicality:** We do not just dance to the beat; we understand the layers of the track. This is crucial for Kizomba and Bachata flow. - **Partner Work:** I focus on 'connection' over choreography. If you can feel your partner's movement, the steps follow naturally. - **Versatility:** I blend Latin techniques with desi tracks, ensuring your performance feels unique, not like a recycled Bollywood routine. If you want a session that moves past the generic 5-6-7-8 and into real emotional expression, let us connect. I keep my classes open for anyone willing to put in the work, regardless of where they are starting from. ## About Suraj Verma I am Suraj, and for me, dance is a conversation between me and myself, expressed through movement.
