## About The Art of Craftsmanship

True luxury begins with the construction of the garment. I focus on elements like fused interlining for a sharp silhouette, hand-finished lapels, and precision tailoring, ensuring that every piece I craft—from a velvet tuxedo to a refined blazer—holds its structure and form perfectly.

The quality of a suit is defined by what happens before the first stitch is even made. In my Mahalaxmi studio, I focus on the technical rigour that separates a standard off-the-rack garment from a true custom-tailored piece.

### Material Selection
Every design starts with the choice of fabric. I work with premium textiles ranging from plush velvet and suede to durable poly-wool blends. Whether it is a midnight blue velvet suit or a structured cotton-twill co-ord set, the material is selected to match the specific structural needs of the outfit and the occasion. 

### Tailoring and Construction
My process relies on consistent, meticulous construction. For formal ensembles like tuxedos, I utilize fused interlining to create a crisp, resilient shape that maintains its drape throughout an event. I pay close attention to internal details—such as reinforced stitching in the trousers and custom lapel facings—that provide both longevity and an elegant aesthetic. 

### Intricate Detailing
This cluster highlights the hand-embroidery that acts as the signature of my work. From silver patterns on velvet to beaded accents on a silk lapel, these features are applied to add depth and personality to the garment. My focus is always on achieving a modern silhouette while respecting the traditions of formal menswear.
