Whether I'm creating a Russian bun or a bridal braid, I use precise backcombing, structural padding, and specific U-pin placements to ensure your hair stays secure for hours. It’s about building a foundation that survives the heat and the dance floor, not just looking good for the first hour. Every hairstyle I create, whether it's for a bride or a party guest, follows a strict technical process. Mumbai's humidity is the main challenge, so my approach starts with the right prep—texture, proper backcombing, and selecting the correct hair padding donuts to give volume without weight. For my traditional brides, I specialize in the long, intricate South Indian braid adorned with fresh jasmine and gold, or the structured Nauvari-style bun. I make sure these are reinforced, so the heavy traditional jewelry doesn't pull the style out of place. For reception and cocktail events, I focus on modern trends like messy curls, Hollywood waves, and textured Russian updos. I also teach these techniques to my students at my academy in Dombivli, which means I am constantly updating my methods to stay current with modern wedding styles. I always tell my clients, the best hairstyle is one you don't have to worry about. We will discuss your outfit neckline, the type of dupatta draping, and the event duration before we pin a single strand. If you need volume, I provide synthetic extensions, and for your Sangeet or Mehendi, I ensure the style is trendy but practical enough for hours of dancing.
