My journey as a nail technician started in silence. I wasn't great at small talk, but I found my voice in the quiet focus of nail art. ### The Reality of the Craft It is not always glamour. Behind every fresh set of nails, there is a lot of back-bending, late nights, and precision. When you see those perfectly sculpted acrylics or the delicate hand-painted roses, you are seeing the result of hours of practice. I teach these techniques in my courses because I believe in passing on the craft, but on the floor, it’s just me and your nails. ### Why Technique Matters - **Stiletto Shaping:** It is not just cutting a tip. It involves merging lines and filing from both sides equally to get that sharp, elegant point without weakening the structure. - **3D Acrylic Art:** This is my favorite. It takes patience to place each bead, but when you build a flower petal by petal, the dimension is unlike anything else. - **Cuticle Health:** I always emphasize dry manicures. Cleaning up the dead skin around the nail bed isn't just for aesthetics—it's the only way to ensure your extensions don't lift after a week.
