I take my squads on outstation tours like our trips to Dehradun because you need to face different pitches, unfamiliar opponents, and stay together as a unit to survive. You learn more about your game in three days on tour than in three months of local practice. ### Why Tours Matter Most academies just focus on the drill. I focus on the player. When we travel for matches, it is not a vacation. It is a simulation of the pressures you will face at the professional level. You have to adapt to new climates, sleep in different beds, and support your teammates when the score is against you. ### Building the 'Soldier' Mentality We do not just play cricket; we live it. Whether we are training in the Mumbai humidity or playing matches in the hills, the objective remains the same: mental toughness. * **Adaptability:** Playing on different surfaces forces you to adjust your technique instantly. * **Camaraderie:** When you spend 24/7 with your squad, you learn who has your back. Real partnerships on the pitch start with trust off the field. * **Discipline:** You cannot fake intensity. On tour, I watch who wakes up early for fitness, who keeps their kit organized, and who stays focused when the game gets tight. If you want to play for the MCA or make it to the Mumbai Premier League, you need experience against teams that do not know your style. These tours give you exactly that. You will face fierce competition and come back with the kind of confidence you just cannot build in a training net. If you are serious about your cricket, you need to be part of the next squad. ## About Sunil Cricket Academy I am Sunil, and I do not just coach players; I build squads. When we travel, I watch how you react after a duck, who cheers for the teammate who dropped a catch, and who stays disciplined when the coach is not watching. That is the real test of a cricketer.
