I hang back. Whether it is a nervous groom double-checking his tie or a grandmother sharing a secret in the corner, I am waiting for the moments that happen when you think no one is watching. If you want posed group shots, we will do those, but the real work—the stuff you will actually keep in your living room—happens in the pauses between the main events. ### The Art of the Unspoken There is a specific kind of magic that exists between the rituals. It is the moment the makeup artist leaves and the bride takes a deep breath, or the second a father sees his daughter fully ready for the first time. In my years of shooting weddings in Gurugram and across the country, I have learned that the main ceremonies are important, but the stories that last are the ones that happen on the periphery. ### My Approach to Your Day My style is about observing, not directing. You will get the classic portraits you need for your album, but my focus is on capturing the genuine. I look for the way your partner grins when they think they are hidden, the relief in a hug, and the chaotic joy of a dance floor mid-sangeet. I work with a blend of natural light and professional LED setups to ensure we catch these moments even in low-light indoor venues common in NCR. ### Logistics and Reality I operate primarily out of Gurugram but travel across India for destination weddings. My packages are designed around continuous coverage, meaning I stay through the prep, the ceremony, and the after-party. You get raw data on a hard drive because I believe those outtakes are just as valuable as the retouched highlights. If you are worried about the camera being intrusive, rest assured—my goal is to blend in until I feel like a guest with a lens, not a production crew. ## About Sumita I am Sumita.
