If you’re planning a pool-side Haldi or just don’t mind getting a bit messy, I’m right there in the splash zone with you. I don't just stand back; I hunt for that specific moment of laughter when the groom finally gets tossed in, or when the bride shares a quiet, turmeric-stained glance with her parents. ### Capturing the 'Yellow' Madness Haldi ceremonies are chaotic, colorful, and fast-paced. As a photographer, this is where I get to drop the formal portrait poses and lean into the action. Because there’s so much movement, I rely on fast shutter speeds to freeze that exact second of a splash in the pool or a handful of turmeric flying through the air. You won't find me telling you to stay still or keep your makeup perfect—I actually prefer it when you’re fully in the moment, getting a little messy. ### My Technical Approach Lighting is everything at a Haldi. Outdoors, I work with the natural sun to catch that vibrant yellow glow on your skin.
