We are not a backing track outfit; every sound you hear—from the tabla's heartbeat to the bassist's groove—is played live by artists who have spent years finding our collective rhythm. When you book us, you are getting a unified team that knows exactly how to read a room, whether we are weaving poetry into a quiet ghazal or cranking up the energy for a Bollywood reception. Great music is about chemistry, not just competence. Our band setup includes a full mix of western instruments like drums, guitars, and keyboards, balanced with the traditional, earthy sounds of the flute, tabla, and sarangi. This variety allows us to transition seamlessly from a soulful Sufi evening to an upbeat Bollywood set without breaking the mood. We prioritize authenticity. Because we perform as a 10-piece group, we bring a level of acoustic richness that a smaller setup simply cannot match. Alish Mohan leads the vocals, blending Urdu Shayari with contemporary melodies to keep the storytelling at the forefront. For hosts planning an event, keep in mind that this level of production requires a bit of logistical support. Since we bring our own instruments, we rely on you to provide the PA system, monitors, and the tech environment. This setup allows us to focus entirely on the performance. We view our role as a partner in your celebration, and having a full ensemble ensures that whether you are hosting a grand wedding in Delhi or an intimate gathering across India, the music feels full, powerful, and deeply personal. ## About Sufi Folks We are not just a band; we are a family. Alish and the team have spent years jamming together, which is why you will never see us just going through the motions. We feed off each other’s energy to make sure the music hits home for every single guest.
