## About Learn With Me: Soap & Skincare Workshops

Many beginners worry that handmade soap-making is too complex or dangerous. In my workshops, I break down the chemistry of saponification into manageable, safe steps. Whether we are tackling the hanger swirl technique for a 5kg slab or formulating a gentle Panchamrutam bar, my focus is on removing the guesswork so you can confidently experiment with textures and natural ingredients in your own kitchen.

### Understanding the Chemistry
Soap making is chemistry, not magic. In my sessions, we move past 'follow the recipe' approaches to understand *why* ingredients react the way they do. We discuss lye concentration, oil properties, and temperature control—the critical factors that separate a grainy batch from a luxurious, stable bar of soap.

### Workshop Formats
- **In-Person Sessions:** Held at my studio in Shanti Nagar or hosted at venues like June Spa & Salon in Indiranagar. These are intimate, hands-on classes where I guide you through the entire process, from measuring lye to unmolding.
- **Online Academy:** Perfect for self-paced learning. My digital tutorials, including the popular Cupcake Soap and Transparent Soap courses, feature detailed video walkthroughs, proven recipes, and the specific troubleshooting tips I've gathered over nine years of experimenting.

- **Cupcake Soaps:** Learn my foolproof frosting recipe and how to create the embeds that make these whimsical designs possible.
- **Transparent Soaps:** Discover the hot process method needed to create jewel-like, clear soaps, including layering and embedding without trapping bubbles.
- **Skincare Essentials:** Learn to make stable emulsions for body creams, lotions, and shampoo bars from scratch using plant-based ingredients.

My goal is for you to leave with the confidence to formulate your own soaps. I don't just show you what works—I show you the 'steel bowl' moments where things went wrong and how to fix them, so you don't have to make the same mistakes.
