Seven years ago, when my mother and I started The Style Planner, many people told us that styling real people was a failed business model, and that a mother-daughter venture would not last. We kept going because we knew that styling is about more than trends; it is about building genuine confidence. Nine years in this industry has taught me that the best transformations happen when you stop following strict rules and start listening to yourself. When I pivoted from fashion design to full-time styling, I was told it was a risk. Today, I am proud to say that my mother and I have built a studio in Pune that stands the test of time. **More Than Just a Label** From my mother’s roots with Beauty Pride, which she started in 2001, to our current venture, The Style Planner, we have focused on one thing: accessibility. Whether it is bridal makeup for a Pune wedding or a personal styling session, my goal remains the same.
