I have to factor in how specific fabrics react under heavy studio lighting, how they move during action sequences, and how to maintain continuity between takes. It is a technical puzzle of ensuring every piece stays camera-safe while visually defining the character. The behind-the-scenes reality of costume styling is rarely as glamorous as the final frame suggests. It involves long hours of sourcing from both luxury boutiques and local street markets, meticulous organization of garment tags, and the constant stress of last-minute fittings on set. Whether you are watching 'Unsorted' on Disney+ Hotstar or viewing these character trials, you are seeing a result that required careful planning. I prioritize practical fashion styling, which means teaching students how to handle these exact challenges. My approach to mentorship bridges the gap between creative vision and on-set reality.
