- ![Spread across 2000 square feet, this 4BHK apartment has an overarching sense of fluidity that permeates the apartment. It was important for our clients to have a generous living and dining area with an open kitchen set up that would work well to host their friends and families. Our idea was to create a well-balanced and harmonious space and our designs reflect the clients’ personalities, so each is unique. We started by playing with material palettes and finding areas that we wanted to sculpt, like the walls, entryways to rooms/passages and furniture pieces. This inspired us to weave a common language of textures, materials and aesthetically happy colour blocking. We added colours through furniture pieces, upholstery, artwork and balanced it out with white rendered ceilings, walls and grey floors.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/df547a5e-d5f0-4478-a2f0-f3b979ee2f28)

## About Awards & Media Features

Our design approach focuses on crafting tranquil, texture-rich spaces that balance modern geometry with timeless charm. This commitment to 'aesthetically happy' interiors and functional planning has earned us recognition in Architectural Digest and GoodHomes, validating our belief that a home should reflect your unique personality.

At Studio Mestry, we view every award and media feature not as a trophy, but as a confirmation that we are successfully translating our clients' visions into reality. Our work has been published in Architectural Digest India, showcasing our 'Bold & Balanced' approach where vibrant colour blocking meets architectural precision. We were also honored to be included in the Igen 2023 list of India's top 50 under 40 architects.

Our recognition at the GoodHomes Awards 2024 under the 'Design Discoveries' category and our Gold win at the GeeVees Awards for 'The Vintage Garden' project highlight our versatility across both residential and commercial interiors. These features often focus on our technical rigour—whether it is managing complex open-plan layouts in Vile Parle or designing custom furniture for a compact Mumbai apartment. We believe that professional recognition serves as a testament to our philosophy of minimalism and materiality, where spatial fluidity takes precedence over ornamentation. We remain dedicated to those design-centric values that first put us on the map.

## About Studio Mestry
