Casa Aurea is our ode to the Goan pace of life, where colonial charm meets a modern, laid-back spirit. ## Photos and videos - [Video: We are thrilled that our Casa Aurea project was featured in Elle Decor. This video shows snippets from the article, highlighting the home's blend of Goan holiday spirit, colonial-inspired furniture, and modern interior design.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/ca7efee7-8e41-4442-997d-10b2b2326f36) ## About Goan Susegad: The Casa Aurea Villa In the dining area, we balanced a distressed eight-seater table with raw, unfinished chairs to recreate the feel of a coastal boho café. Sunlight spills through floor-to-ceiling windows, turning the entire room into a bridge between the indoor comfort and the wild fields outside. Susegad is not just a word in Goa, it is a rhythm. With Casa Aurea, we wanted to capture that feeling of contentment in every corner of the house. Our team worked to blend colonial-era furniture with vibrant modern accents, ensuring the space feels rooted in history but light enough for a vacation home. We focused on the interplay of light and shadow, using expansive glass to frame the surrounding pool and greenery. The library, reaching toward the ceiling, serves as a quiet anchor for the room, inviting you to slow down. This project gained recognition in Elle Decor, which highlighted our commitment to mixing nostalgia with playfulness. Whether we are designing for a villa in Goa or an apartment in Bangalore, our approach remains the same. We study the site, analyze the sunlight, and then we build a dialogue between your story and the environment. For projects like this, we manage the full turnkey execution, handling everything from the structural modifications to the final selection of art and soft furnishings. ## About Studio Detailine I'm Leanne.
