* **Terrain Modeling:** Digital 3D modeling to analyze slope gradients and utilize natural contours.
* **Earthwork Optimization:** Strategic placement of roads and plinths to minimize excavation costs and retaining wall heights.
* **Hydrological Planning:** Design of natural water runoff channels to prevent erosion on slopes.

#### Vertical Masterplanning
* **View Mapping:** Orientation analysis to ensure maximum units get premium views while maintaining privacy.
* **Stepped Typology:** Creation of split-level housing concepts where roofs may double as terraces.
* **Structural Concepts:** Proposal of lightweight construction methods (steel or stilt) to reduce impact on the terrain.

#### Documentation & Visuals
* **Sectional Design:** Detailed cross-sections showing the relationship between roads, housing units, and the hill.
* **Atmospheric Renders:** 6 to 8 high-end visualizations emphasizing the site topography and dramatic views.

* **Material Specs:** Recommendations for materials suited to high-weathering coastal or hill climates.

## About Masterplanning

We treat masterplanning as storytelling—each project is a chance to weave a narrative around a place. For us, a good masterplan is more than just lines on paper. It’s about blending architecture, landscape, and interiors so everything feels like it belongs together, rooted in the land’s natural contours.

### How We Work

- Every plan starts with the site’s story, whether it’s a mountain slope or a buzzing city block. We look for what’s special about a place and design around that.
- Our designs always try to connect people. We’re not into cookie-cutter suburbs. Instead, we aim for low-rise high-density communities—clusters of homes around shared courtyards, with a strong sense of neighborhood.
- Common spaces matter. We like clubhouses, co-working corners, little urban farms, and picnic lawns so everyone finds something for their day-to-day.
- Nature leads the way, not just as a backdrop. We use the land’s own slopes and shapes to guide how everything fits together. This keeps our plans sustainable and helps with things like passive cooling and natural light.

### Our Process

- We start with sketches, diagrams, or even paintings, not just technical plans—sometimes a drawing says more than a spreadsheet.
- We use 3D visuals to make sure everyone can see what the end result will feel like.
- In the end, we provide clear, detailed documents so the builders know exactly how to turn the plan into reality.

If you’re looking for narrative-driven masterplans or want a place that feels like it grew out of the land, that’s what we love doing.

## Meet your expert

[SAV Architecture and Design](https://mytribe.in/studioamitavikrant)

### My story

We're SAV, bouncing between London, Mumbai, Goa - each city kind of sneaks into our work. Started out wanting to blend tech stuff like computation and fabrication with the old-school charm of storytelling and craft. For us, a house isn’t just walls, it’s a story - sometimes it hugs the land, sometimes it hides little secret spots. Even our drawings, we treat them like poetry. We get a bit obsessed, not gonna lie, with every step from sketch to space.

### My work

- **Architecture & Design Services**: We do masterplanning, architectural design, interiors, and landscaping for homes, commercial spaces, wellness spots all over India.
- **Concept-Driven Approach**: Mixing computation and craft, we make designs that tell a story and feel alive.
- **Tropical Modernism**: Earthy materials, flowing spaces, courtyards, screens - all about that warm serenity and tropical modernism architecture.
- **Passive Cooling & Nature**: We work with the land, not against it. Passive cooling design and seamless indoor-outdoor connection are big for us.
- **Obsessed With Process**: Drawings are our language. From wild ideas to nitty-gritty details, we guide everyone through each step.
