## About Landscape Architecture

### How We See Landscape Architecture

At SAV Architecture and Design, I look at every project as a chance to let nature be a true part of your daily life. I’m not just adding a few plants or trees - I want the garden, the building, and the space between to all feel like one story. Whether it’s a busy city plot or a hillside, the outdoors should always be close by.

### My Way of Working

- I start with what’s already there: the slope, the soil, the sun, the mood. Each site has its own vibe, and I let that guide the design.
- Linking indoors to outdoors is a big deal for me. I’m always thinking about how you’ll move between spaces and how light, air, and green things flow through.
- I use passive cooling landscape ideas - like green facades, courtyards, and water features - to keep places comfy without so much AC.

### What I Love Creating

- Courtyards that work as hangout spots, quiet corners, or a place for the whole building to breathe.
- Urban rooftop gardens that make the most of every bit of space, turning flat roofs into places to chill, grow food, or just escape for a bit.
- Outdoor communal spaces that feel open and welcoming, with room for play, picnics, or art.

I mix tech with hands-on detail, so every project feels both modern and rooted in its place. If you want a space that feels alive and part of the land, that’s what I do.

## Meet your expert

[SAV Architecture and Design](https://mytribe.in/studioamitavikrant)

### My story

We're SAV, bouncing between London, Mumbai, Goa - each city kind of sneaks into our work. Started out wanting to blend tech stuff like computation and fabrication with the old-school charm of storytelling and craft. For us, a house isn’t just walls, it’s a story - sometimes it hugs the land, sometimes it hides little secret spots. Even our drawings, we treat them like poetry. We get a bit obsessed, not gonna lie, with every step from sketch to space.

### My work

- **Architecture & Design Services**: We do masterplanning, architectural design, interiors, and landscaping for homes, commercial spaces, wellness spots all over India.
- **Concept-Driven Approach**: Mixing computation and craft, we make designs that tell a story and feel alive.
- **Tropical Modernism**: Earthy materials, flowing spaces, courtyards, screens - all about that warm serenity and tropical modernism architecture.
- **Passive Cooling & Nature**: We work with the land, not against it. Passive cooling design and seamless indoor-outdoor connection are big for us.
- **Obsessed With Process**: Drawings are our language. From wild ideas to nitty-gritty details, we guide everyone through each step.
