We operate by our own 'Studio Playbook'—where sunlight is free, context is queen, and yes, sometimes the software crashes. We believe that an office should be as open and honest as the buildings we design. Whether it is a quick office bouldering session to clear a creative block or a late-night design charrette with chai, this is the environment that lets us obsess over details like exposed brick bonds and lime plaster finishes. Architecture isn't just about the final render; it’s about the journey of getting there. At Studio XS, we believe that how we work directly impacts the quality of the spaces we create for you. Our design process in Bengaluru is rooted in transparency and collaboration. We take the time to analyze site topography, map solar paths, and experiment with materials like reclaimed wood and Athangudi tiles before a single wall goes up. ### Our Design Philosophy Our work is driven by 'One in a Row'—a commitment to crafting one thoughtful project at a time. We don't believe in batch-processing homes. Whether we are designing a wind-responsive home like *Kaattu Veedu* or an immersive experience center, we focus on: * **Context-Driven Design:** We build with the land, not against it. * **Natural Materiality:** We let stone, brick, and earth speak for themselves. * **Experiential Architecture:** Spaces that encourage you to pause, breathe, and reflect. ### Why the Office Life Matters Our studio culture—filled with table tennis tournaments, team Thanksgiving feasts, and our resident mascot, Klause—is central to our creativity. A team that laughs together solves problems better. This energy translates into our site supervision, where we personally visit sites 20 to 30 times to ensure that the vision we sketched on paper comes to life exactly as intended. If you are looking for an architecture firm that takes the craft seriously but keeps the process human, you are in the right place. ## About Studio XS We’re Shivani and Sucheth, the principal architects behind Studio XS. Our team is a mix of marathon runners, dancers, and design geeks who believe architecture should be fun, honest, and personal. We don’t just draft plans; we create spaces that actually breathe and feel alive.
