The subtle variations in glaze and form you see here are not flaws, but the honest marks of human hands working with natural clay in our Byculla studio. Our studio is built on the *Shibui* aesthetic, which finds beauty in things that are modest, natural, and simple. When you look at our cobalt blue espresso cups or the bronze metallic mugs, you see more than just tableware. You see the result of hours of centering, pulling, and waiting for the kiln to complete the process. We do not aim for the uniformity found in factory-made items. Instead, we embrace what we call intentional imperfection. Whether it is a mini ceramic house or a sturdy stoneware mug, each piece carries the distinct touch of the potter who made it. Because we use natural stoneware clay and experiment with different firing techniques, no two items are exactly alike. These pieces are meant to be used, not kept behind glass. They are designed for your morning tea or your evening rituals. We invite you to reach out if you would like to see what is currently sitting on our shelves, or if you want to visit us in Byculla to experience the work in person. ## About Studio White & Gray I am Sandeep. For me, pottery is riyaaz, a constant practice that shapes both the clay and the potter. My studio in Byculla is where this process comes alive, away from the city's noise, inviting you to connect with a craft that values honesty over perfection.
