Take this cheese platter for example—it cracked, so I repurposed it into a textured artist’s palette. Every chip adds character. If you have a meaningful ceramic piece that has seen better days, bring it to my Powai studio and let’s see if we can give it a second chapter. Kintsugi isn't just a fancy trend; it's a way of looking at life. When you hold a piece of my pottery, you're holding a moment in time. Sometimes that moment involves a fall, a crack, or an unexpected change in the firing process. Life hai bhidu! Things break, but that doesn't mean they lose their value. I’ve turned broken platters into functional paint palettes, garden mosaics, and statement decor pieces. It's about reframing the narrative—seeing the potential in what most people would throw in the bin. If you want a custom commission that embraces these organic, raw textures, or if you're looking for dinnerware that tells a story, we can work on that together. My custom process is a collaboration. Whether you need a specific shape, a quote painted on a mug, or a unique glaze finish, I handle the painting and glazing myself. Because I work with stoneware and earthenware that requires slow, careful firing, custom projects usually take 30 to 45 days. It's a labor of love, but the result is a piece that is truly yours, quirks and all.
