Since I handle the glazing and painting myself, personalized orders—like hand-painted names or specific motifs—require 30 to 45 days for drying, firing, and perfecting. It is a slow process, but it ensures that the final ceramic piece you hold is exactly what you imagined. Pottery isn't just about clay; it's about freezing a memory in stoneware. When you commission a piece, you aren't just buying a mug or a plate; you are co-creating a keepsake. ### My Custom Commission Process Whether it's a plate with your child’s handprint or a set of mugs with your favourite quote, I walk you through the design. We decide on the shape, color palette, and the specific text. Because I do everything by hand—from the initial wheel-throwing to the final glaze firing in my kiln—I keep you updated with photos from the wet clay stage to the bisque stage. You see the progress, and you know the heart that goes into it. ### Why Choose Handmade? My style is rustic-refined. You might see small variations in glaze drips or texture; that is the signature of handmade pottery. These aren't factory-made duplicates. Everything is high-fired, meaning your personalized dinnerware is durable, microwave-safe, and food-safe. ### Gifting Ideas If you are looking for a thoughtful birthday gift or a festive hamper, we can play with textures like pine cones or leaves to make it truly unique. Life hai bhidu—things break, but a well-made ceramic piece, cared for, becomes a family treasure. ## About Studio Meeraya I’m Madhura, and my studio is where I turn clay into stories. I do all the painting and glazing myself because I want every piece that leaves my kiln to be perfect, just for you.
