This is where I throw clay on the wheel, fire pieces in my kiln, and find my sukoon (peace) every single day. ## Photos and videos - [Video: This is my space, my tiny world. Because I glaze every single piece myself, you might spot slight variations in color or texture, but that’s the beauty of handmade stoneware. If you’re visiting, expect to see shelves lined with works-in-progress and the wheel right by the window where I spend most of my time. When I started Studio Meeraya, I wanted a place that felt like home. My studio in Powai is where I keep my kiln, my wheel, and my sanity. Whether I’m throwing clay for a batch of dinnerware or carefully glazing a custom mug, everything happens right here. I believe in an approach where imperfections are celebrated. My pieces aren't mass-produced clones; they carry the marks of my process—the fingerprints in the clay, the variations in glaze drips, and the personality of a human-made object. Life hai bhidu, and my ceramics reflect that same reality. Here is how we can work together: - Ready-to-Ship: Functional dinnerware, from mugs to platters, ready for your home. - Custom Commissions: If you have an idea for a cafe, hotel, or a special gift, we can design it together. Just a heads up, these take 30-45 days because I handle every step, from wet clay to firing. - Classes: Come over, get messy, and find your own sukoon. Every piece is high-fired for durability, making them safe for your microwave and dishwasher. If you want something with soul, you'll find it here. ## About Studio Meeraya Pottery is my therapy, my way of finding peace in a busy city. I’m Madhura, and this studio is where I pour my heart into every mug, plate, and custom piece I create.
