## About Pottery Workshops

### Why Pottery Feels Different Here

For me, pottery is therapy. It’s not about making perfect pots, it’s about slowing down, feeling the mitti (clay) in your hands, and letting your mind chill for a bit. That moment when you’re lost in shaping something? Bas, bahut accha lagta hai (it feels really good).

### The Studio Vibe

Our Ghatkopar studio is cozy, with a balcony view of greenery and train tracks. Sometimes there’s chai, sometimes rain, always music. You can just be yourself here - no pressure, no judgment. I’ll guide you, even if you’ve never touched clay before.

### What You Can Try

- Hand-building pottery class: Make mugs, bowls, vases, or wind chimes in 2-2.5 hours. Bring your ideas, we’ll figure it out together.
- Pottery wheel experience: Try the wheel on Mondays or Tuesdays. One-time sessions or multi-class options if you want to get into it.
- Paint your own pottery session: Decorate ready-made pieces or try sgraffito and Japanese Nerikomi for something artsy.

### For Groups & Special Days

- Claydate workshop: For couples, friends, or parent-child duos.
- Private parties: Birthdays, bachelorettes, kitty parties, or team events.
- Kids workshops: Screen-free, messy fun for children.

### What You Take Home

You get your own handmade, food-safe ceramic piece after firing and glazing (ready in about a week). Don’t stress about getting messy - paani aur mitti se darna nahi hai, daag acche hote hain (don’t fear water and mud, stains are good). The clay is forgiving, and so are we.

## Meet your expert

### My story

Hey, I'm Aparnaa, Chief Clay Officer at Studio Hands inClay. I started this studio because clay felt like magic to me - it’s honest, messy, and somehow healing. Our balcony studio isn’t just about making pots, it’s about making memories. Whether it’s couples on a first date, families, or friends, I love watching folks shape more than just clay here. That’s what keeps me going.

### My work

- **Pottery Workshops for All**: From wheel pottery for beginners to Sgraffito art and Japanese Nerikomi technique, we offer fun, hands-on sessions for everyone.
- **Chill, Cozy Studio Vibe**: Not your usual art class! It’s a relaxed space to unwind, with music, chai, and lots of laughs. Messy hands, happy hearts.
- **No Experience Needed**: Never touched clay? No problem. Just bring an open mind - paani aur mitti se darna nahi hai (don’t fear water and mud)!
- **Take Home Your Creation**: Leave with a hand-built ceramic keepsake, fired and glazed, ready to use or gift. Your story, baked in clay.
