We perform a site analysis to determine the right real-versus-artificial plant ratio for your specific balcony, ensuring your space stays lush even if it gets very little natural light or faces harsh heat. Transforming a balcony or terrace is rarely just about buying a few pots. It is about maximizing the footprint you have. Whether you are dealing with a compact apartment balcony or a sprawling terrace, we focus on layout and structural durability. ### How We Approach Your Space * **The Light Audit:** Before we suggest a single plant, we assess the light. If your balcony is a dark, north-facing corner, we do not force real plants that will wither. Instead, we use hyper-realistic artificial foliage, high-grade UV-stabilized mats, or shade-loving live plants like Snake Plants and ZZ plants that actually thrive there. * **Dry Landscaping:** Many of our clients want greenery without the mess of mud or the risk of water seepage. For these spaces, we use 'Dry Garden' concepts. This involves high-density artificial turf, white dolomite pebbles, and strategic, tiered plant placement to give you that lush look with zero maintenance. * **Flooring & Hardscaping:** A great garden needs a base. We often suggest decking, tiles, or turf to cover up standard builder flooring. We make sure the drainage is managed so your balcony stays clean during the monsoons. * **3D Planning:** We do not guess. We create 3D renders so you know exactly where the seating, the planters, and the vertical walls will go before we start the installation. This saves you from bad decisions and helps us fit everything perfectly into those tricky, awkward corners. Ultimately, we want to build a space where you actually want to spend time. If you have an empty terrace or a balcony collecting dust, let’s talk about how to make it your favorite corner of the home. ## About Studio Earthbox I’m Priyam, and I run Studio Earthbox with my mom, Sangeeta.
