We use anti-rust treated MS mainframes for longevity in Delhi’s climate, rather than simple timber that rots after one season. Whether you need a fixed dining spot or a retractable roof for rainy days, the frame design comes first. We calculate the wind loads so your structure stays secure, even during a monsoon storm. ### Why a Pergola? In Delhi, the terrace is often the only patch of open sky you own. But without shade, it sits empty for most of the day. A well-built pergola changes that by creating an outdoor room that stays cool and usable, whether it is for morning coffee or evening hosting. ### The Studio Machaan Approach We focus on two things: material science and function. Many pergolas look good on day one but sag or rust by year two. We use anti-rust treated MS (Mild Steel) mainframes. This gives us the strength to span wide areas without needing too many pillars, keeping your space feeling open. Depending on your need, we design: * **Fixed Pergolas:** Great for permanent dining areas or supporting heavy climbing plants. * **Retractable Roofs:** Perfect if you want to soak up the winter sun but need protection during the monsoon. * **Louvered Designs:** These allow you to control airflow and light intensity throughout the day. ### Design and Execution We do not just install, we engineer. Ruhi handles the layout to make sure the pergola aligns with your seating and plant zones, while I manage the structural load and lighting conduits. Since we build these with lightweight materials, there is no heavy brickwork involved. This means less mess and faster installation, letting you start using your new outdoor lounge sooner. ## About Studio Machaan I am Chirag, and my wife Ruhi leads the design at Studio Machaan. We started this because city rooftops should not be storage dumps. We build pergolas that actually work, keeping you cool and dry, while making sure the structure is solid enough to last for years.
