Both artificial grass and vertical green walls add minimal load to the building's structure, making them a safe and viable option for adding greenery to high-rise terraces.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/9e997727-52eb-49c0-89ad-cb8d22f1af7b) ## About Green Solutions & Materials The biggest issue with rooftop greenery is drainage and weight, not just looks. We use high-density 35mm-50mm artificial turf with perforated backing, which prevents water from pooling and avoids the mess real grass creates on a concrete slab. We check your existing drainage points before laying a single strip, because a beautiful lawn is useless if it causes seepage in the rooms below. ### Why Artificial Over Natural? Natural grass on a terrace is a maintenance nightmare. It requires deep soil, heavy-duty waterproofing, and constant care that most people can't keep up with. Our artificial turf options look real, feel soft underfoot, and handle extreme heat and monsoon rain without turning muddy or brown. ### Structural Safety First Weight is the biggest constraint for high-rise balconies. Real soil for a lush garden adds tons of load. Our vertical green walls and artificial turf solutions are featherlight, allowing you to have the greenery you want without compromising the safety of your building's structure. We calculate the load capacity, so you don't have to worry about the 'what ifs' of building a garden on your roof. ### Quality That Lasts We don't use the cheap plastic turf that fades in the sun or feels like sandpaper. We source UV-protected, high-density turf that stays vibrant year-round. For vertical gardens, we opt for preserved moss or modular panels that stay lush without needing any irrigation systems or fertilizers. ### Our Process 1. **Site Inspection:** We check your existing slab drainage and surface levels. 2. **Surface Prep:** We clear and clean the surface so the turf lies flat and drains properly. 3. **Precision Installation:** Our team handles the seaming professionally, ensuring the edges are seamless and the layout fits your specific terrace corners perfectly. ## About Studio Machaan I'm Chirag, and I handle the technicals—drainage, structural loads, and durability.
