When you choose a custom piece, we focus on the ergonomics, such as tailoring the seating depth for your specific comfort or selecting the precise weave of cane to match your home's lighting, ensuring that every curve and joint serves a purpose beyond just looking good. When we create a piece, we start with the grain of the wood and the weight of the stone. We work primarily with kiln-dried teak, ash, and oak because these materials age with grace, becoming more beautiful as the years pass. Our process is transparent and highly collaborative. It begins with a mood board to align on the visual direction, followed by 3D renders that allow you to see the proportions before we cut a single piece of wood. Whether it is a velvet sofa with zig-zag suspension for maximum comfort or a marble console with fluted shutters, the goal is to create something that feels like it belongs in your home, not a showroom. We focus on details like hand-turned legs, scalloped trims, and soft-close hardware to ensure longevity and ease of use. We deliver across India and welcome you to visit our studio in Indiranagar, Bengaluru, to feel these materials for yourself. If you are looking for made-to-order furniture that moves away from the matching sets mentality, let us start a conversation. ## About Studio Goya We are Studio Goya, a team obsessed with the alchemy of space and story. We do not believe in catalogue sets; we believe in building furniture that feels like an heirloom, using real wood, honest stone, and tactile fabrics that get better with time.
