## About Sustainable Architectural Design

We see homes as living stories. At Studio Bhoomi, we try to design spaces that actually speak - to you, to the sunlight, to the breeze outside. I’m not here to just build a box; I want your home to feel like it flows, with rooms that connect you to nature and never feel cut off.

### Design That Breathes

- We use organic geometry to make homes that draw you in and encourage movement. You’ll notice indoor and outdoor zones kind of blend together, so you never feel stuck inside.

### Materials With Soul

- Clay blocks, terracotta tiles, and natural stone are our go-to’s. They help keep your home cool and have that earthy vibe.
- Wood is used for warmth and character - you’ll see it in floors and staircases.
- For upcycled building materials, we craft gates from leftover wood and mosaic ceilings from broken tiles. It’s all about reducing waste and adding a distinctive touch.
- Sometimes, we experiment with lightweight composite panels for rapid builds that don’t compromise on insulation.

### Light, Air, and Green

- We’re obsessed with the play of light. Think sunshine through slits, skylights, and creative window placements.
- Nature isn’t just outside - indoor courtyards, gardens around stairs, and greenery in living spaces set the mood and keep air flowing.

### Details That Matter

- We do filler slab ceilings using clay pots or bamboo baskets for passive cooling architecture and visual impact.
- Vaults and domes give volume and drama to rooms.
- Every choice is about harmony with the earth. If you want a home that feels alive, not just built, this is what we do.

## Meet your expert

[Studio Bhoomi](https://mytribe.in/studio.bhoomi)

### My story

We’re Studio Bhoomi. Bhoomi means Earth, that’s where our heart is. I’m Chaitra, leading a young bunch who love gardens and sunlight, sometimes more than concrete! You’ll spot us at Lalbagh, stealing ideas from plants, then sneaking greenery into every wall and stair. We mix old tiles, leftover wood, and clay like it’s second nature. Won the 'Care for the Earth' award in 2023—felt good, ya! Our spaces? Full of fun, light, and always a bit of mischief.

### My work

- **What we do**: We design eco-friendly homes, sustainable buildings, interiors, furniture, landscaping, and make models too.
- **Earth-first approach**: We use local materials—stone, wood, clay, bamboo. Sustainability is our thing, always rooted in nature.
- **Chasing the sun**: Natural light architecture is our obsession. Skylights, slits, and playful shadows everywhere.
- **Details, details**: From custom brick dome ceiling to upcycled furniture design, we love unique touches and getting our hands dirty.
- **Design with you**: We mix your ideas with ours. Indoor-outdoor living spaces, pivot windows, quirky name boards—let’s have fun with it.
