Whether we are sketching at the Craft Museum to study natural light or attending exhibitions at the College of Art, these outings sharpen your observational skills and technical ability in ways that a controlled studio setting simply cannot replicate. ### Why We Step Outside Traditional fine arts training often feels isolated. At Stroke Art Institute, we bridge the gap between technical practice and public engagement. When you study with us, you are not just learning how to hold a brush; you are learning how to exist as an artist in the world. ### Hands-On Exposure Our curriculum integrates field study into your training: * **Outdoor Sketching:** Regular visits to locations like the Craft Museum force you to adapt to changing light, outdoor elements, and public observation. This builds the speed and confidence required for professional practice. * **Gallery Visits:** We take students to major venues like the Lalit Kala Akademi to study the work of masters. Seeing a sculpture by Ram V. Sutar in person provides a tactile understanding of scale and form that images in a textbook cannot convey. * **Public Art Events:** Participating in events like our recent Jantar Mantar project allows students to work on large-scale canvases under time constraints. It teaches teamwork, discipline, and the ability to handle pressure. ### Building Your Portfolio This exposure does more than build your confidence. It gives you a unique story to tell through your art. Whether you are a beginner or a professional in training, these experiences add depth and context to your portfolio, proving you can apply your skills in diverse, real-world scenarios. ## About Stroke Art Institute I'm Sunil Chawla. At Stroke Art Institute, we know that true artistic growth comes from stepping out into the world. That is why our curriculum includes consistent field visits to galleries and outdoor sessions, designed to challenge you and expand your vision beyond the canvas.
