This material is actively breathable and alkaline, which naturally prevents fungal growth on walls—a common issue in our climate. Unlike standard cement finishes, a lime-plastered wall regulates indoor humidity, keeping your home feeling fresher and more comfortable through the seasons. ### Why Natural Materials Matter Our approach isn't about jumping on trends; it’s about returning to building practices that make sense for our environment. Cement and artificial laminates often trap moisture and heat. In contrast, materials like terracotta and rubberwood manage temperature fluctuations better. * **Lime Plaster:** More than just a textural finish, it’s a living wall material. It absorbs humidity and releases it slowly, which helps maintain stable indoor air quality. * **Cane and Rattan:** We use these for their structural integrity and ventilation. Whether in a bed headboard or wardrobe shutter, the open weave allows airflow, keeping your clothes and fabrics from feeling damp or stale. * **Terracotta:** We use this for jaalis and facade elements. It acts as a passive cooling feature, shading your interiors from harsh Delhi sun while still letting the breeze pass through. ### Balancing Tradition and Modern Efficiency We know that "traditional" can sometimes sound like "slow" or "expensive."
