I focus on how the scale of the mountains or the stillness of a lake reflects your connection. You won't find me directing rigid poses or forcing a look; instead, I prioritize finding that quiet, authentic pause where you are just existing together, completely uninterrupted by the camera. The result is a set of images that feel like a memory of the day, not a production of it. ### Finding the Stillness in Destination Shoots Photography in high-altitude or lakeside settings offers a unique challenge: the temptation to make everything 'grand.' While the drone shots provide that cinematic scale, my primary goal remains the same regardless of the location—capturing the intimacy between you. Whether we are in the misty pines of Mussoorie or on a boat in the middle of a lake in Udaipur, I work with the natural light and the rhythm of the environment, not against it. ### My Approach to Nature Photography * **Natural Lighting:** I rely heavily on the soft, diffused light of the mountains or the golden hour reflected off the water to frame your portraits. This avoids the harsh, artificial look and keeps the skin tones genuine. * **Unobtrusive Cinematography:** My team and I understand that you are here to experience the destination, not to spend hours looking at a camera lens. We keep the equipment light and our presence minimal, which allows for candid shots of genuine laughter, quiet conversations, and those fleeting moments of connection. * **The Technical Edge:** From professional lapel microphones to capture your vows against the wind to using gimbals for stable, smooth motion in varied terrain, the gear is always there to serve the story, never to distract from it. ### Planning Your Shoot If you are planning a destination wedding, remember that logistics play a major role. I prefer to have a conversation about your itinerary before we finalize the shoot plan. This ensures we utilize the best times of day for light and accessibility, especially in places where the terrain requires a bit of travel time. Whether it's a pre-wedding shoot in Bir Billing or a full-scale wedding in a royal lakeside property, I aim to create a narrative that is authentic to you. ## About Stories by Kunal Sahni I'm Kunal.
