I calculate the carving depth and density specifically so the light bleeds through the pattern with an organic, soft glow rather than harsh glare. We drill hidden conduit paths directly into the stone blocks for all wiring, ensuring your wall remains clean and uncluttered without any exposed cables. When you see a backlit stone wall, the magic isn't just in the LED strip—it is in the physics of the stone itself. I work with high-density sandstone and marble, honing the surface to a matte finish which diffuses light far more evenly than a glossy surface ever could. ### My Process Whether it is a celestial star pattern in a staircase or a glowing Ganesha idol for a puja room, the process is technical and precise. We share 3D views and samples first so you aren't guessing the final look. For these installations, I ensure: * **Thermal Management:** Stone dissipates heat well, which keeps the LED strips running for years without degrading. * **Seamless Integration:** All wiring is hidden within the stone carving, so you see only the light, not the fixtures. * **Durability:** I apply specialized sealants to all backlit pieces, making them resistant to dust and moisture, suitable for both indoor feature walls and semi-outdoor areas. ### Why Go Backlit? A plain stone wall looks static during the day, but a backlit one breathes when the sun goes down. I often use these designs for headboards, reception areas, or as statement pillars. Since I run the studio in Greater Noida, I handle everything from the initial design concept to the final protective coating application. If you have a specific pattern in mind—even if it is just a rough Pinterest screenshot—send it over. We can translate almost any geometric or organic shape into a stone masterpiece that glows. ## About Stoneartwala I am Abhishek, and I have moved from a 9-to-5 desk to carving stories in stone. My team and I treat every block as a blank canvas, blending traditional Indian hand-carving with modern technology to create art that genuinely glows.
