It is the only way to get those edges perfectly flat and seamless, so your cover stays crisp and does not get all wavy on your favorite books. ### Handmade for the Book-Obsessed Books deserve to look cute, right? Whether you are a classic novel reader or a fantasy fiction junkie, these accessories are designed to bring a little cottagecore magic to your reading nook. I focus on textures and colors that feel like a cozy Sunday morning. ### My Go-To Bookish Accessories * **Crochet Bookmarks:** My favorites are the daisy chains and the mushroom caps. They are not just about saving your page; they are meant to look like a little piece of nature peeking out from between the pages. The stems are durable enough to survive being shoved in a bag, but delicate enough to not damage your paper. * **Custom Book Covers:** These are my pride and joy. I use floral granny squares to create a cover that fits your book perfectly. Since every book has a different thickness, I work on these as custom commissions. I use an 'invisible join' technique, which means no bulky, uncomfortable seams when you are holding your book. ### The 'Real Life' Process Honestly, making these covers is a labor of love. I sometimes spend hours on just the squares, and the weaving in of loose ends is... a total pain. But when I see the final vintage color palette—those pinks, blues, greens, and yellows coming together—it makes all the finger cramps worth it. ### Quick Care Tips * **Keep it clean:** If your bookmark gets dusty, a gentle hand wash with cold water and mild soap is all it needs. Lay it flat to dry. * **Fitment:** For book covers, let me know the dimensions of your book (or the specific book edition) so I can ensure the fit is snug. No one likes a baggy book cover! ## About Stitches by Sam I’m Samiya, a total yarn addict living for that cottagecore aesthetic.
