Instead of making them follow high-energy puppies, I make sure they have a quiet, dedicated spot where they can rest, move slowly, and receive gentle, personalized attention throughout the day. ### Our Approach to Senior Comfort Managing care for senior dogs is completely different from handling younger, high-energy pups. Our approach in our Dasarahalli space is built around the specific needs of older guests: lower impact movement, consistent supervision, and plenty of space to relax without feeling pressured to socialize. ### Why Senior Dogs Need a Different Setup As dogs age, their requirements change. They might have arthritis, reduced vision, or just a lower tolerance for the chaotic energy found in standard kennels. Our facility is designed to be a sanctuary. We prioritize: * **Low-Impact Environment:** Our kennel-free setup means no jumping, stairs, or tight spaces that can be tough on stiff joints. * **Gentle Routine:** We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all schedule. If your senior dog needs five short naps a day, that is exactly what they get. * **Constant Supervision:** Because older dogs can be more sensitive, we keep a close eye on their hydration, comfort levels, and any changes in mood, ensuring they feel secure throughout their stay. ### Our Commitment to Safety We treat every senior guest as if they were part of our own family. We know that leaving an older dog at a boarding facility can be nerve-wracking for pet parents. We invite you to visit our Bengaluru studio to see the space for yourself—watch how the older dogs navigate the yard and see how they settle into our calm, supervised environment. Whether it is a Cocker Spaniel like our regular visitor or a gentle giant, we provide the steady, patient care they deserve. ## About Stay We are Team Stay, a group of dog lovers who have spent decades learning from our guests. We do not run a kennel; we run a home where our seniors, our shy pups, and our happy pack can just be themselves.
