While social butterflies might curl up on a shared mat in the shade, our seniors or nervous pups get access to our quiet 'safespace' upstairs, ensuring they get truly undisturbed rest away from the main pack excitement. We have learned over seven years of running our kennel-free space that a balanced day isn't just about play; it is about finding that perfect, peaceful spot to snooze. Rest is an essential part of the Stay experience, especially when you are part of a busy, happy pack. ### Why Napping Matters High-energy socialization is great, but over-stimulation can lead to grumpy pups. We actively monitor energy levels throughout the day to ensure guests aren't pushing themselves too hard. When we see a dog seeking out a shadow or slowing down their pace, we gently nudge them toward our rest zones. ### Our Comfort Setup We have designed our facility with specific gear to support this downtime: - **Raised Mesh Beds:** These are excellent for air circulation, keeping your dog cool during the warmer parts of the day. They provide firm, orthopedic support that is especially kind to the joints of our senior guests. - **Cozy Mats:** Perfect for dogs who prefer to stretch out or share space with a buddy. - **Cool, Shady Corners:** Our paved areas have overhead shade nets to ensure that even outside, there is always a spot out of the direct sun. ### The 'Safespace' Option For guests who prefer their own company, or those who find a group environment a bit overwhelming, our 'safespace' upstairs is a game-changer. It is a quiet retreat where your dog can nap without the chaos of the main pack. It is fully supervised, clean, and calm—everything a dog needs to feel safe and recharge before the next play session. ## About Stay We are Team Stay, and honestly, the dogs run this place. After nearly seven years of living with and caring for our furry guests, we know that a balanced day isn't just about play—it's about finding that perfect, peaceful spot to snooze.
