I often recommend silk fans for those who want to prioritize grace and fluid aesthetic over technical intensity, as they demand a softer, more rhythmic engagement with your breath. If you are hiring me for a performance or a workshop, we will discuss whether you need the airy, dreamlike quality of veils or the sharp, geometrical patterns possible with my Russian-style tech fans, as they change the entire mood of the space. The beauty of fan dance lies in its versatility. It is a dialogue between the dancer and the prop, where the fabric becomes an extension of the body's intent. In my workshops across Bengaluru, we move beyond just spinning props. We focus on the foundational grips and posture, which are the silent language of flow arts. ### Choosing Your Style * **Silk Veil Fans:** These are perfect for creating soft, sweeping lines and an ethereal atmosphere. They are forgiving for beginners and work beautifully for events that need a touch of elegance, such as weddings or intimate gatherings. * **Tech Fans:** If you are looking for geometric precision, Russian-style tech fans are the choice. They are sturdier and allow for intricate, mathematical patterns. These require more wrist strength but offer a powerful, hypnotic visual that cuts through the noise of a busy event. ### What to Expect Whether you are booking a private session or a group workshop in places like Indiranagar or JP Nagar, we start with the basics of object manipulation. My teaching style is not about rigid drills; it is about finding your own rhythm. I show you the grips, then we build a small choreography to music. If you are a beginner, do not worry about getting it perfect. The joy is in the practice, the occasional mess-up, and finding that momentary stillness where the music and your movement become one. For performances, I bring this same philosophy—treating the space like a canvas and the movement like paint, whether I am flowing in a quiet temple or at a high-energy event. ## About Stardust Flows I see my flow as movement medicine—my way of finding balance amidst the chaos of life.
