I always bring a dedicated safety spotter with a fire blanket and extinguisher to every gig, ensuring the flames stay focused on the choreography and not the venue. It is this absolute focus on safety that allows me to dance with the fire, instead of just fearing it. ### The Dance of Fire For me, fire poi is movement medicine. It is the art of manipulating gravity and flame, where each spin represents a step forward or a worry burned away. My fire performance style is a fusion of my classical dance training and raw, wild flow arts. Whether I am utilizing giant fire snakes for a visual spectacle or intricate poi for technical light trails, the goal is always the same: to create a hypnotic visual rhythm. ### Why Fire Art for Your Event? * **Versatility:** From the high-energy, aggressive spinning at music festivals to the graceful, meditative flows at private gatherings, I adapt my style to the vibe of your event. * **Technical Precision:** I don’t just swing props; I choreograph. My training allows for complex patterns—neck wraps, weaves, and partner passing—that keep the audience guessing. * **Authenticity:** This is not a cookie-cutter circus act. It is a deeply personal, often improvisational art form. If I’m at a 1 AM fire jam or a wedding sangeet, the energy I bring is exactly the same. ### Safety First, Always My fire shows are inherently technical, but safety is the bedrock. I require a 10x10 foot staging area, strictly clear of guests. If the venue poses a fire hazard, we can seamlessly transition to my LED and Pixel props, which offer the same hypnotic, geometric visual patterns without the heat. Whether you are looking for a powerful, high-impact finish or a slow, rhythmic start to your evening, my poi and snake performances offer an experience that lingers in the memory long after the last spark fades. ## About Stardust Flows I’m Nishitha, known in the flow world as Stardust. My performances are born from eight years of classical dance training and a relentless need to find freedom in movement. I don't just perform; I share a piece of my own flow state, whether I’m at a grand wedding or just practicing on my terrace.
