Take our recent Dubai Hills project: we used bottle green for a grounding effect and paired it with warm oak to soften the space. Crucially, we layered sheer and neutral curtains to manage the intense sunlight, ensuring you get enough light to stay energized without the glare that breaks focus. ### Designing for Focus A home office needs to be more than a desk in a corner. It should be a place where your best ideas happen. We start by analyzing how you work—do you need complete silence, or does a little background activity help you stay creative? We map out your circulation, acoustic needs, and tech requirements to ensure the space serves your routine, not the other way around. ### Custom Joinery and Storage Off-the-shelf furniture rarely fits the unique constraints of a home. We build storage and desk units tailored to your specific tools. Whether it is integrated cable management for your tech setup or floor-to-ceiling shelving for your reference materials, our joinery is designed to keep clutter out of sight so your mind stays clear. ### Material and Light We obsess over textures. From wood grain that feels good under your hands to stone surfaces that add weight to a room, every choice impacts how you feel while working. We also plan your lighting layout carefully—combining task lighting for detailed work with ambient, soft light that keeps the room feeling like part of your home, not a separate office building. If you are struggling with a layout or choosing materials that fit your needs, let us know. ## About STaND We are Sid and Nik. We believe your workspace should work as hard as you do, without feeling like a corporate cubicle.
